The CW's 'The Vampire Diaries" returns April 19th, and these preview photos show Steven R McQueen as Jeremy Gilbert, either back in Mystic Falls or being visited by his sister Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon Salvatore, played by Ian Somerhalder, in Colorado, where he was sent a few episodes back. Looks like Jerm's taken up baseball, but many viewers hope that he might return and take up the Gilbert family tradition of vampire slaying, or batting!

A LIttle Housecleaning!

Generally I don't actually talk about the Blog here on the Blog, but a visitor pointed something out to me of which I was unaware, and that's that at the bottom of the each page followers are listed and their icons displayed. I am thrilled to even have people following the Blog, and I appreciate all of you, BUT I generally see a numeric representation, not the public icon displays, and, to be polite, many of them are not in keeping with the content of the Blog. As you probably know, I don't post nudes, nor do I post adult content. There are places to go for that, and I've even provided links on occasion, but I don't wish to restrict this site. I admire the models and photographers whose work I post here, and I wouldn't want them to feel uncomfortable about where their work was being posted.I also enjoy doing regular posts about media (comics, TV, movies, music), and wouldn't want to curtail those postings. I looked into what Blogger suggests doing (like just keeping icons invisible or generic, but couldn't find anything, as they are going through an overhaul, and access to forums is down. So for the time being I've removed the public listing for followers. Sorry if that inconveniences anyone, but until a better solution is found, I think it solves the immediate concern. Comment or email me if you have any concerns. Again, my thanks for all of you who do follow the Blog, and hopefully you understand where I'm coming from with this.
