Oscar Spendrup (above) was one of the many models who walked for Dolce & Gabbana in Milan this weekend and also got to wear a reasonable outfit!
Not so fortunate in either outfit nor hairstyle was Ryan Bertroche, who walked for Calvin Klein. Still, he got paid.
For Fall/Winter 2010-2011 Dolce & Gabbana presents a campaign depicting a rather attractive Italian family, including Madonna, Evandro Soldati, Adam Senn, and others. (Some of the same themes and people as were featured in their previous campaign.)
I've posted before about my love affair with my namesake doll, Ken, who makes his animated movie debut this weekend in Toy Story 3! Voiced by Michael Keaton, Ken also appears in the promos called "Ken's Dating Tips", as seen here:
Ken dolls are generally just seen as accessories to the Barbie doll, and are therefore less articulated and less detailed (elbows and knees don't bend;silly grin; plastic 'hair', etc.), with the exceptions being the higher-priced display lines, and the relatively new Fashionista line. The Fashionista (Fashionisto?) line just added a second Ken! Weird hair, but 'hair' nonetheless!
Big hair and orange tans invade Riverdale in Archie & Friends #145 as Archie, Reggie, and the gang parody MTV's "Jersey Shore". It's doubtful that there will be much action in the hot tub, however.
Alex Wong is one of the eleven contestants this season on "So You Think You Can Dance". The contestants in the new format are paired with previous seasons' 'All-Stars' for the first time. Alex is an amazing dancer, and this evening he was paired with Allison in a piece choreographed by Sonya Tayeh, set to Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah". It was awesome!
