Photographer Tarrice Love captured a couple of great images of Wilhelmina model Duran Bunch. Mr. Love says:"A mutual friend refer us to work together - Duran would ride his motorcycle from Nashville to my home in Memphis to get strong enough images to attract the interest of Wilhemina Models NYC. Duran has stomped it out on the runway for nearly all the top designers in Paris, Milan, and London. Cool Look

So I ran across this picture at Models.com, and the look is just too cool! The center model (seems to be Crystal Renn) reminded me of someone, but I couldn't place it at first. Then I recalled Siobhan Fahey's look in the Shakespeare's Sister video for "You're History":

So You Think You Can Dance Season 7!

Season 7 of "So You Think You Can Dance" changes up the format of the show by no longer relying on establishing a 'couple' from the outset, but rather changing partners each week in order to showcase the individual contestant's versatility (or lack thereof). Cutting the number of contestants down to ten, the show is bringing back 'all stars' from previous seasons who excel in their own category of dance. Personal fave ballroom specialist Pasha Kovalev is featured in these promo pics. (I hope it's better than Idol was!)

Zachary Zatara Returns To Teen Titans!

When last we saw Zachary Zatara, cousin to Zatanna, he was mentioned as being comatose in a Metropolis hospital as an aside in JLA. Apparently he recovered, as he's appearing in a back-up series beginning in Teen Titans #83, along with other teen magic-users Traci Thirteen and Black Alice, written by Rex Ogle and drawn by Ted Naifeh.


The set-up is that three demons wish to utilize the bodies of the three main characters in order to escape Hell, and this issue sets up the protagonists as each lacking something which a demon will use to ensnare that individual. Zach is portrayed as an arrogant ass, as always,but we are led to believe that he lacks a 'real connection'. Considering that we've yet to see him interact with his cousin, and that his characterization thus far has been one dimensional, the reader can only hope that this may be expounded upon, and perhaps we'll see how his previous relationships with Raven and Kid Devil, as well as his time as a prisoner in Mirabai's dimension, may have impacted him.

War Of The Supermen Ends!

Well, that was quick! DC Comics "War Of The Supermen" ended pretty much as quickly as a battle where most participants possess super-speed might, with a return to the status quo for the Super titles. Conner(Superboy)Kent got in some nice moments, aided by the ever-faithful Krypto.


They rescued Supergirl from Ursa, and used the Phantom Zone Projector to imprison Non. Conner didn't get an epilogue as some other characters did, but he and Krypto get to move on to the upcoming Superboy series, and the new writers on Superman can forget all about the elements introduced this past couple of years.
