Got a chance to watch the "Human Target" pilot with Mark Valley as Christopher Chance, a minor DC comics character, in a show premiering January 17 (tonight), and it's well worth viewing! Fast-paced, with well filmed action scenes, and some nice touches of humor, the show features Chi McBride (of "Pushing Daisies") and Jackie Earle Haley as the supporting cast. Really good stuff.

Speaking of comics, April solicits for DC show that Conner Kent, Superboy, whom I was worried wouldn't find a regular gig with the demise of his solo feature in Adventure Comics, will figure in the Superman family of books, as well as returning to the Teen Titans!

Cory Bond and Ryan Bertroche, who were just posted in the Dolce & Gabbana show, are part of a set of outtakes published by photographer Joe Lally, seen on Frillr:

From the Milan FW2010 show, it's Marlon Teixeira , Cory Bond, Ryan Bertroche, who were among 100 male models used for the Dolce & Gabbana's tenth anniversary:

Back when I lived in Florida I spent a huge amount of time at the beach, and was constantly late for work in the restaurant/bar business, and I finally shaved my head so as to not have wet hair to contend with, as well as making work that much easier (no hair all over the place, etc.). Every winter I contemplate growing the hair back, but the itching is too uncomfortable. I feel for Kerry Degman here, as he apparently is letting his return in these shots from H&M and for H&M by way of causemyeyesareopen.blogspot.com

In Adventure Comics #6, Geoff Johns presents Conner Kent's last solo story as Superboy since returning to life in the Legion of Three Worlds miniseries. When we last left Conner, he had found that Smallville classmate Lori was actually the niece of Lex Luthor, one of the DNA suppliers for Conner, and Superman's arch-enemy (Superman being the other DNA supplier)! Lex promises to cure Lori's mother's illness and sends Conner to gather items he needs in order to do so.

Of course, Lex being Lex, he despicably cures his sister and then removes the cure, infuriating Conner, and a fight ensues, joined by both Conner's faithful pet,Krypto, and the resuscitated Brainiac!

Lex and Brainiac depart to make future appearances in DC titles, and Conner has a quite moment with the Teen Titans, including in their number his girlfriend, Cassie, AKA Wonder Girl, and best friend Tim, AKA Red Robin.

Rumor is that Conner will rejoin the Titans soon, and there's always a spot for him among the Super titles, but Adventure was a nice little venue for him with a decent writer and and artist (Francis Manapul). It'll be missed.
