With the country at war, I just felt a need to wish our troops all the best. Hope it's over soon, and that we find out for certain that we were right.
Well, Michael Moore obviously feels otherwise! He could've made a decent point about pacifism, but he couldn't resist attacking the President and recalling the Florida election. Too bad he didn't study how the elctoral process works here in the U.S. But then libraries don't allow food.
This is the first year where I had seen none of the films nominated for an Oscar, so I was switching stations all night. Pretty boring fare. I'd rather have seen a new episode of 'Alias'.
I'm still rooting for Clay on 'American Idol', and as they finish their seasons, 'Buffy' and 'Angel' have increased the quality of their shows! We know 'Buffy' won't be returning, but the jury's still out on 'Angel'! Looks like 'Life With Bonnie' has been renewed! A consistently sweet and funny sitcom, I have begun to look forward to it each week.
Matt Drudge is still doing an amazing three hour broadcast each Sunday night, and I love to catch Lucianne Goldberg on Talk Radio Network weekday mornings! Here's hoping that someday Art Bell will retrun with a national show! And, my guilty pleasure, which I can only handle in small doses, is Phil Hendry! Funny, funny stuff! I swear I've met Bobbie Dooley and her husband, Steve!
No comic news, except that the DC Direct Silver-Age Batman & Robin figures are awesome! Can't wait for the Batgirl/Joker set!
Good luck to the troops!
